TO: All Contractors, Developers, and Storm Water Quality Management Permit Holders

Re: Qualified Professional Inspector Registration and Certification.
In accordance with City of New Albany Ordinance No. Z-06-09, Section 56.30- Inspections and Maintenance, all Rule 13 Sites requiring a “Storm Water Quality Management Permit,” must perform self-inspections. These inspections are to be performed by a Qualified Professional registered with the City of New Albany Storm water.

Contractors are encouraged to become registered through the southern Indiana Storm Water advisory Committee (SWAC )qualified professional inspector (QPI) program. However, the City does recognize other qualifications, and certifications, as spelled out in the ordinance.
